Negative opinions
Amongst the comments on the web about the Lightning Process you will discover some negative opinions.
These stem from the fact that the Lightning Process finds
- That ME is totally recoverable from
- That over 85% of participants gain recovery from their ME
- That the change is rapid
- That because it’s not funded by taxpayers’ money, you have to pay for it
For some people this goes against everything they believe and know to be true.
In fact this would be much less of an issue if our success rate was 5% and the change took months to achieve.
The sources of these negative opinions are:
- People who have no actual personal experience of the Lightning Process, but are certain they know all about it.
- A very small (less than 15%) group of people who have taken the training and not managed to apply it as directed by their trainer
If you wished to cross London by public transport would you consult someone who had
- Never made the journey
- Consistently failed to make the journey and has got lost each time
Or would you ask someone who had made the journey successfully a number of times?
People who have used the Lightning Process to recover from their ME unsurprisingly start to move away from groups and forums which discuss what it’s like to have ME as they don’t have it anymore. As a result the opinions voiced in those forums will be fairly unrepresentative of those who have successfully used the process to recover.
